Today was a day worth remembering.

I spent 7 o'clock getting ready, applying non-stop make-up to look presentable during a school event.  So I spent 2 hours there playing Slap with cards with Sailor Moon all over them.  Moving on, I spent 7 hours at a hospital, keeping company and taking care of a woman who might as well be my own grandmother.

Then I spent an hour in ballet class, getting even more flexible.  It felt so beyond relaxing to stretch out, missing a week of exercise already.  So I wore competition-approved clothing for Latin.  Which made my butt look godly.  Ying.

Then we had an hour of jive boot camp.  I could've cut my own feet off.  But I learned so many technical things that are missed when dancing socially.

The thing I need to remember about today: I have the best company director ever.  She is paying for private lessons for my partner and I so we can win the competition next Thursday for Jive.

I know I don't have room to just say she'll do it, and that's it, but we've just known each other and danced with each other for so long.  I know she's just looking out for us.  Like friends do.
